Amy Schumer and on-screen love interest Michael Cera look in good spirits as they reunite for the Season 2 film of Life & Beth in NYC
Amy Schumer and on-screen love interest Michael Cera were spotted filming the second season of the Hulu series Life and Beth in New York City.
The 41-year-old comedian – who was recently spotted filming alone – wore a hooded navy coat that hit the thighs.
She covered her eyes with a pair of round, light orange sunglasses and she partially pushed her hair back.
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old Juno actor, who plays Farmer John, wore a buttoned denim shirt with front pockets.
The show follows Schumer’s title character Beth, a Manhattan wine merchant who returns to her hometown of Long Island after the sudden death of her mother.

The mother-of-one wore black trousers and a pair of dark white-soled sneakers.
She was lugging a dull gray wheeled suitcase with black trim and placed a bright yellow purse on top.
Michael added a pair of khaki cargo pants to his look and finished it off with a pair of brown work boots with black laces.
He wore his textured brunette hair in a tousled look and rocked a stained beard on his face.
The two walked side by side down a sidewalk while filming a new scene.
The first season ended with Beth starting a relationship with a local farmer (Cera), and the second season will reportedly follow their new romance.
Schumer has many roles in the hit Hulu series, as she also serves as a writer, director, and producer in addition to starring.
“It’s based on themes from my life,” she told Entertainment Weekly last year. “But there are things that Beth does that really happened.

“There’s an episode where she flashes some guys. That happened to me. And episode nine has a dark moment that’s real.
The I Feel Pretty star tried to sum up her entire series, but eventually explained that “there’s so much at stake.”
“It’s really what I think about every day, which is letting go of your own shame and fear,” she explained.
“Because of those early traumas, we’re bracing ourselves, and it’s about letting go and trusting and showing yourself how to be happy.”
Schumer went on to discuss how the intensity and depth of puberty can burden us with “armor.”
“It’s so deep and so intense,” said the Trainwreck star, “and you just have no idea what the hell you’re doing.
“It’s so hard to navigate and you can just get sexually humiliated at such a young age and all that stuff. And then you’re just stuck with all that armor when you’re older.’

Schumer – who shares her three-year-old son Gene with husband Chris Fischer, 43, – also spoke about the catharsis that comes as she mines her own life for material.
“It’s definitely cathartic,” the Inside Amy Schumer star told EW. “I’m a communicator. As a comedian, you feel like you want to say something and you want people to hear it.
The Emmy winner eventually made the connection to help people feel better through her art.
“The idea of making people feel better about themselves is all I could wish for. I am so thankful because other artists have done this for me.”
