According to information from WCPO-TV, on January 21, the 26-year-old man allegedly pointed a gun at a person and told him to “get shot in the face”. The incident reportedly happened in Cincinnati, a day before the Bengals beat the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs.
The Ohio team said in a statement it was made aware of the situation but would not immediately comment.
This isn’t the first time Mixon has gotten into hot water. While playing for the University of Oklahoma in 2014, he allegedly punched a woman after a rude exchange. The Californian was suspended for a season.
In 2022, Mixon passed the ball for 814 yards and also caught the object for gains of 441 yards. He had a total of nine touchdowns.
The former Pro Bowler signed a four-year contract extension worth $48 million in 2020.
