On November 7, the Legault government will present its budget update, said Éric Girard.
The issues of housing, homelessness and adaptation to climate change should feature prominently in this update, the Finance Minister said in the corridors of Parliament on Thursday morning.
“The measures will be announced on November 7th,” he said.
On housing, Quebec’s big financier said he spoke with federal Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland on Monday.
“I reiterated to him that there is an urgent need to sign the agreement between the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation and the Société d’habitation du Québec so that Quebecers can benefit from any additional amounts,” he said.
