An influencer admits to harassing several English football players

Orla Melissa Sloan, a 21-year-old influencer, admitted to molesting several football players, including Chelsea star Mason Mount, who broke up with her, in a London court on Wednesday.

During a hearing at Westminster Magistrates Court, the prosecutor described how the young woman, who has a mostly TikTok presence, and Mason Mount, 24, had a sexual relationship after meeting at a party in November 2020.

The couple stayed in touch for around six months before the footballer “decided the relationship wasn’t going to continue”.

“After informing Miss Sloan, he was the victim of a flood of messages,” the prosecutor said.

“He first told her to stop before she blocked her number,” but the defendant used 21 different numbers to keep contacting him, he added.

She “knows pretty much where I live and where I train. I’m afraid if she can’t contact me, she might show up at my training center,” Mason Mount said in a statement read during the hearing.

Messages were also read from Orla Melissa Sloan to other footballers, notably some in which she told ex-Chelsea player Billy Gilmour, now playing at Brighton, that she was pregnant while assuring him she had had no relationship with her to have.

Orla Melissa Sloan has pleaded guilty and faces jail time. The verdict is expected on June 20th.
