Henry Parson and his wife Meera are moving out in a beautiful, modern home in a secluded area of Corrales, New Mexico.
They are young and very much in love. Meera is a psychoanalyst who has just recovered from cancer and is afraid that the disease may one day return.
Henry is an architect and he designed the new house full of state of the art technological gadgets just to give to Meera and celebrate her recovery to make her feel as safe as possible.
At some point, spouses become victims of burglaries in their homes.
At first, when they are not present, when they return they find everything upside down.
But they quickly realize that they are also the target of other people’s actions in their room at night, and there is no need for a police report or intervention.
Henry even goes so far as to shoot criminals to dissuade them once and for all.
But according to Meera, something is wrong: she is convinced that they are not just random thieves, but of targeted attacks, and begins to investigate the matter on his own.
Is there really a mystery to be solved and what will it be? Or did Meera become unnecessarily paranoid after her illness?
