Former Ben Affleck, 49, and Ana de Armas, 33, have been seen hot and heavy again – this time on screen as “picture perfect” – but secretly promiscuous – the Vic and Melinda Van Allen couple in a new trailer for Psychological Hulu thriller Deep Waters.
The teaser shows the de Armas character repeatedly cuckolding Affleck as her hubby, who watches her from afar. The film, directed by Adrian Lyne and based on the novel by Patricia Highsmith, explores “the dangerous mind games they play and what happens to people who fall into them,” according to Hulu.
“I just want to feel joy in my life,” Melinda says before getting naked in a car with a mysterious man played by Euphoria’s Jacob Elordi.

But the plot soon thickens beyond the Knives Out actress, who flaunts her sultry figure for man after man while keeping hot secrets from her once-real life. Melinda discovers a limp body face down in the pool, and conversations with her husband on screen take a decidedly darker turn.
“The truth is, if you were married to someone else, you would be so bored, you would kill yourself,” Melinda tells Vika, leading up to a tense montage of sex, blood, and a car falling off a ravine.
Do you think we’ll ever be just happy? She then asks Vic. “God, I hope so,” he replies. In reality, though, the lead duo seem pretty content—just different people.

Following their split in January 2021 after nearly a year of being together, Affleck moved on to rekindle a wide-ranging Hollywood relationship with his former superstar Jennifer Lopez, and de Armas was seen pouring PDA with her boyfriend, Tinder bigwig Paul Boukadakis, in Los Angeles. at the end of last year.
“There’s a lot of love between [de Armas and Affleck]an insider told Page Six during their breakup. “The breakup is as amicable as can be. Ana is great, but I also think there’s something to be said for Ben having a family and really wanting to be around his kids and Ana being somewhere else in her life.”
Deep Water will be released on March 18th.
