“I wanted to know why when we call people and come here, from the city council, from the inspectors, for God's sake, they don't look at this and say, 'Hey, there's more things going to fall on the tree.' . from Natal,” explained Ana Maria.
She explained that she usually calls the Pinheiros subprefecture, the neighborhood where she lives, to have the trees trimmed. But the moderator was not satisfied with the cuts by the town hall.
“I have a house with lots of trees. And I take care of it, there is a gardener who comes here, who takes care of it, who prune what can be pruned and so on. And then I shout: sometimes I tried, we have to make a request and do everything to be able to prune it,” he explained.

At around 4 p.m., storms and winds caused a metal structure on a marquee in Ibirapuera Park to collapse. Four people were injured in the incident.
