Two weeks after her birth, Ana Maria Braga’s youngest granddaughter finally got a name. Mariana Maffeis, eldest daughter of the presenter of Mais Você, revealed this Sunday (26) that the girl will be called Hima. The child was born on November 13th.
Ana Maria Braga even talked about her granddaughter a few times on her Globo morning show, calling the girl Lila. However, Mariana explained that this was not her daughter’s name and that the decision to name her Hima was only made recently. The communicator’s daughter also said that she is getting used to the girl’s new name.
In the live broadcast, the yoga teacher explained that in Brazil the sound of “H” will be silent and that in India it will take on the sound of “R”. In other words, the pronunciation there will be “rhyme”.
Mariana Maffeis, 40 years old, the firstborn of the Mais Você presenter, gave birth to her fourth child at home. She was already the mother of Joana, 12, and Maria, nine from her relationship with her ex, Paschoal Feola ; and Varuna, two, from his current marriage. The Hatha yoga teacher announced on her Instagram that she had a baby girl, the result of a relationship with yoga teacher Badarik González. The parents did not know the gender of the child until the time of birth.
Mariana said the little girl was born in the family home, surrounded by her father and sisters. Ana Maria Braga was not there when her granddaughter arrived because she was in Dubai recording reports for Mais Você.
“You arrived in the comfort of your home, in a dark, calm and serene dawn, full of bright stars that greeted you and watched over you. The baby arrived magically, just as we mothers insist on feeling in truths born of the indelible moments that unfold in infinite time and are embedded in the spiritual fabric that is the foundation of everything , what is real. To be born is to be in body and mind; pure courage. You were born!” he continued.
