Singer Anahí will not take part in the show of the Mexican group RBD at Allianz Parque in São Paulo this Saturday (18/18). According to the event organizer, the decision was made based on medical advice.
“It breaks my heart that I can’t perform tonight. I tried my best to be on stage, but unfortunately the doctors insist that I use this time to rest and heal. The five of us have decided that the show must continue off stage. “Respect for all of you,” the singer said in a statement.
The lecture will be given by the other four members of the RBD: Dulce María, Maite, Christopher and Christian.
On Friday evening (17), Anahí had to leave the show and go to the hospital after feeling fever and pain in her ribs, back and head for days.
In the early hours of this Saturday, the singer posted on social media that she had been diagnosed with a serious kidney infection.
“According to blood tests and ultrasounds performed on me, I have a severe kidney infection, severe inflammation and pain,” he wrote.
“Dear friends, for the first time in my life I had to cancel a concert for health reasons. My heart is shattered because it is truly the thing I would want the least,” he posted on a social network.
The singer also wrote that she was receiving medical treatment and thanked her Brazilian fans for their love. Anahí also apologized for leaving the stage shortly before the end of the show.

This Saturday is RBD’s sixth show as part of the “Soy Rebelde” tour in Brazil. Last week the group performed in Rio de Janeiro.
This Friday afternoon, Anahí published a message on a social network in which she said that she lacks the words to thank Brazilians for their affection.
“It was a day of great pain, but here I am again with all my heart. I’m sorry if I can’t give you the show you deserve.”
During the show, the singer stated that she was leaving the performance to see a doctor. Nevertheless, Anahí remained on stage for more than an hour.
At around 10:30 p.m., Christian Chávez said that Anahí had gone to the hospital and that the rest of the group would continue the show. “It’s what you deserve and what she wanted,” he said.
The group’s performance lasted about two and a half hours and ended around 10:55 p.m.
In addition to Anahí, Dulce Maria also stated that she was ill. The singer reported on social media that she had no voice and was suffering from bronchitis.
“Nothing makes me more helpless because I wanted to give 100% to do the best together with my teammates after waiting for this moment for so long,” he said, Thursday (16).
