The viewer better prepare his tissues to watch the next chapters of Land and Paixão. After his release from prison, Antônio (Tony Ramos) hires a hired killer to murder Lucinda (Débora Falabella). The criminal will shoot her in the head at the end of this Saturday's episode (6), but the police chief's wife will not die. She undergoes surgery and remains in a coma until the final week of Globo's nine o'clock soap opera.
With this, Marino (Leandro Lima) will do something crazy. He will put a gun in Antônio's head and not kill the farmer because he is restrained by Silva (Carlos Feroli). With blood in his eyes, the police chief will do his best to put the villain behind bars.
The public will see emotional scenes on Monday (8) with everyone in shock over the attack and Lucinda fighting for her life. After being placed in an intensive care unit bed, Marino promises to give her life to put whoever did this to her behind bars.
He will convince Ramiro (Amaury Lorenzo) to make a deal, and the gunman will confess to murders and other crimes he committed at the behest of his boss. Kelvin's friend (Diego Martins) is not arrested and can await his trial in freedom.
Over the next week, the penultimate week of Terra e Paixão, Lucinda will be in a vegetative state. Anely (Tatá Werneck) will cancel her honeymoon to take care of her sister. She will face another crisis in her newlywed life as she cannot hide from Natercinho (Daniel Rocha) that she does not love him.
Angelina (Inez Viana), who was fired by Antônio, will do her best to take care of her niece's house and also Cristian (Felipe Melquiades). Hélio (Rafael Vitti) takes Lucinda's place as head of the cooperative.
In the last week of the series, Marino manages to arrest the murderer hired by Antônio. The perpetrator will confess who ordered the crime. In the final chapters, Antônio's party comes to an end and he is finally sent to prison.
Terra e Paixão was written by Walcyr Carrasco and Thelma Guedes. The story takes place in the fictional town of Nova Primavera in Mato Grosso do Sul. The storyline will remain on air until January 19th and will be replaced by the remake of Renascer (1993).
