Petra (Debora Ozório) becomes aware of her lack of control when she experiences a suspected betrayal by Hélio (Rafael Vitti) in Terra e Paixão. The girl will be completely shattered and on the verge of doing something crazy against herself or her boyfriend. She will use the experience to ask Luigi (Rainer Cadete) to urgently take her to a psychiatric hospital in Globo’s nine o’clock soap opera.
At least the engineer won’t have actually betrayed them. The bankruptcy was apparently orchestrated by Irene (Gloria Pires), who is still dreaming of the two breaking up. After all, she knows that Antônio (Tony Ramos) will only hand over the succession to his daughter if he agrees with her husband which he has already done with Luigi.
The vixen’s wish is for the girl to get back together with the Italian, and to do that she would have to break up with the cooperative employee. The villain will then pay a woman to break into Hélio’s room at the inn.
The gold digger waits for the boy to take a shower before entering the room, taking off his clothes and lying on the bed. At the same time, Irene will encourage Petra to visit her boyfriend. The agronomist will rush to the location and come face to face with the naked impostor.
She will draw the obvious conclusions and cause a scandal. Shaken, the young woman is referred to a new therapist, Marta (Kika Kalache), who mentions the possibility of hospitalization. Petra will ultimately accept the proposal.
Luigi will take the young woman to the clinic by car, but before he reaches his destination, he changes the route. The fraudster goes to the village of Jurecê (Daniel Munduruku), where the girl meets Hélio and Caio (Cauã Reymond).
“Caio and Luigi were the ones who prepared everything,” explains the engineer. “We wanted to give you this farewell gift,” explains La Selva’s firstborn. Shortly afterwards the healer appears and greets the young woman.
“Friends of Jurecê are all welcome. If Petra wants, Jurecê will give a blessing. So that the ancestors open the paths. So that the treatment is successful. Does Petra want that?” he will offer. The girl will accept without batting an eyelid.
Written by Walcyr Carrasco and Thelma Guedes, Terra e Paixão is set in the fictional town of Nova Primavera in Mato Grosso do Sul. The plot will be broadcast until January next year, when it will be replaced by the remake of Renascer (1993).
