Anderson Leonardo, lead singer of Grupo Molejo, has been in the UnimedRio hospital in Barra da Tijuca for 27 years.
The singer's advisers sought by g1 said on Wednesday (6) that the artist felt severe pain and the medical team decided that Anderson would remain in the hospital for better examination and treatment. Anderson has been treating groin cancer since 2022.
“We are waiting here for the results of the tests he underwent so that they can be evaluated by the medical committee of oncologists who are treating him. This will give us a more accurate overview of his clinical condition,” says Andreia Assis, the singer’s consultant.
The singersongwriter's cancer was discovered in October 2022. Two months later, the artist announced that he was cured. However, in May 2023, he said he had to resume treatment.
