In her new comedy, Goodrich, Michael plays an art dealer dealing with a career on the wane while his family life is on fire.
Michael’s character, Andy Goodrich, is left to care for his nine-year-old twins alone when his second wife goes into rehab and the specter of divorce is raised.
Personal upheaval forces Andy to reestablish his relationship with Carol, his pregnant adult daughter from a previous relationship, played by Mila Kunis.
It was announced this week via Deadline that Andie, along with True Detective actress Carmen Ejogo and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actor Kevin Pollak, have been added to the film’s cast.
Written and directed by Nancy Meyer’s daughter, Hallie Meyers-Shyer, the film began filming this week in Los Angeles, where it is set.
Andie and Michael previously starred together in Caddyshack director Harold Ramis’ 1996 film Multiplicity.

The crazy plot was based on a short story in the National Lampoon by Chris Miller, who also helped write the screenplay.
