It is with sadness that we announce that actress Andrea Evans has passed away at the age of 66 after a long battle with breast cancer.
Andrea Evans began her career at a very young age, first taking part in beauty pageants, and then appearing in advertising. She began her (long) career in the world of soap operas in 1978 and played the role of Tina Lord in One Life to Live until 1981.
In 1983, Andrea Evans became Patty Williams, sister of Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), in “Fire of Love” (“The Young and The Restless” in the original version) and then returned to One Life to Live until 1990.
In 1999, Andrea Evans appeared in another soap opera, Amour, Gloire et Beauté / Top Models (“The Bold and The Beautiful” in the original version), where she became Tawny Moore, the mother of Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz). The actress will reprise the role in 2010, but this time in Fires of Love.
In 2000, Andrea Evans became Rebecca Hotchkiss Crane in Passions until 2007. In 2011, the actress again took on the role of Tina in One Life to Live.

Andrea Evans has been married to Steve Rodriguez since 1998. The couple adopted a daughter, Kylie Lyn, who was born in 2004.
