Andrés García continues delicately of health because of the cirrhosis he suffers from. According to his wife Margarita Portillo, the 81-year-old actor has already played a role lost weight and gradually weakened.
Despite the situation, his medical team reassures him that he is stable as he is receiving appropriate care.
The actor’s wife shared details about Dr. Sergio Rodríguez with, a gastroclinical endoscopist who has become the family doctor of the artist of Dominican origin, which took place on March 25th.
“He told me that he sees it well from the point of view of the physical situation that we know he’s in with his illness it is incurable and progressive” reported by a video shared on Garcia’s social networks on the 30th of this month.
“Andrés is with every care, with every possible comfort, with every attention, he has the best quality of life that could be cared for and loved here at home,” added Margarita.
Andrés García no longer walks alone
“He is skinny, can’t walk alonehe is lying in a bed, he has a special bed with special mattresses, when he asks to go out onto the terrace he is transported in a wheelchair”.
Margarita Portillo is aware that cirrhosis will gradually consume the actor, so she must proceed with due care so that he has a good quality of life.
“He’s sensitive because he’s lost weight and gradually becomes weaker because it is a process of his illness and he tells me (the doctor) that this is until God wills his little body, hold on and that God wants him here with us,” he said with regret in the video.
Additionally, he said that thanks to the fact that he’s “detoxified in every way,” the Mexican movie star is very aware of what’s going on creates fearbut it’s stable,” said Margarita Portillo.
Andrés García wants to be reconciled with his children
On March 28, in an interview with Gustavo Adolfo Infante for his YouTube program, Margarita Portillo shared that none of Andrés García’s three children had looked for him, but that she would contact them.
“I’ve thought about it a lot and I will contact you It’s up to them to visit their father and it’s up to Andrés to see them. I already asked him why Andrés never liked surprises, so he said yes.”
Margarita wishes for a reconciliation between them, because that would be very good “for Andrés and for her,” she said.
