Andrés Parra is without a doubt one of the most recognized Colombian actors in the world, having acted in numerous international and national productions.

Despite having his normal visa, the artist pointed out that he washed cars and butlered for a family in the North American country, all without that country’s official work permit.

Parra pointed out on the podcast that immigration officials eventually realized his constant travels were not for tourism and revoked his document for about four years.

“More illegal than a banana, I wanted to go. A fish had more papers than me. They took away my visa; You got it of course. They took away my visa for about four years. They told me at the time that I had one year to reapply,” he said.

Valle del Cauca, who grew up in Bogotá, stressed that he reprocessed the visa after paying his fine, noting that he had no trouble re-entering the United States.

At this point, the Colombian actor also took the opportunity to point out the decision he had made to separate from his wife Diana Cáliz, with whom he had been dating for more than ten years.

“When I got divorced, which was that year, I had already worked on my gaps and trauma, but it was like a punch in the chest. A lot of things started to come out that needed to be healed after my breakup,” he initially assured.

He then explained why he didn’t publish the message, adding: “It seems half-hearted to me to make a post on the networks. There was no official release, today we make it official on this podcast.”

Andrés Parra admitted to his colleague that he had wanted to break the news for some time, since then everything is based on social networks. However, the Cali man stated that he was at a very high saturation point for which he had to move away to heal.

The artist reiterated that he mentally thinks his followers have noticed the sudden change because he deleted the publications he had with his family a few years ago and now only shares content related to his passion for the cycling and his profession.
