Sex trafficking suspect Andrew Tate is seeking to be released from prison and allowed to travel to Dubai to be treated for a tumor on his lung, a report said.
The self-proclaimed misogynist wants the freedom to consult his doctors in Dubai over an alleged “dark spot on his lung”, his team told the Chron on Friday.
Tate was reportedly being treated prior to his December 29 arrest for alleged leadership of an organized gang involved in sexual exploitation, human trafficking and rape.
According to his team, doctors in the Middle East kingdom believe the spot on his upper right lung could indicate a carcinoid tumor — a rare type of slow-growing cancer, the report said.

Lawyers have asked Romanian judges to release the conservative social media influencer so he can travel to Dubai for treatment for the disease – but officials in Romania turned him down, ruling he could continue to be treated in the eastern European nation, sources said .
“Unable to be monitored by his select medical team in Dubai, this meant he was taken to a local Romanian clinic during his detention,” a Tate spokesman told the outlet.
“No official diagnosis has been confirmed and he is in good shape and staying strong. His doctors have asked that he return to Dubai for further tests. Andrew did not request this.

“This is not a health issue to be taken lightly and every effort is being made to ensure he receives the best medical care available to him.”
A Tate representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Post.
Tate and his brother Tristian are accused of seducing women by pretending they want a relationship before forcing them to produce pornographic content that they would brag about on social media.
While he was behind bars, Tate threatened a woman who accused him of rape and human trafficking with a $300 million lawsuit if she didn’t drop her allegations against the brothers.
The duo have made multiple attempts to be released from custody.
In one case, a judge ordered them to remain behind bars because of the “particularly dangerous nature of the defendants” and their ability to identify victims “with increased vulnerability in search of better life chances”.
They lost their last request for release on Monday after a judge extended their detention until at least March 29.
