BREAKING NEWS: Andrew Tate’s ‘luxury mansion in Romania searched by police’

According to local media, Andrew Tate’s luxury home in Romania was ransacked.
The prolific social media personality, 36, had his villa searched by police on Thursday, Romanian outlet Libertatea claimed.
Andrew and his brother Tristan are being questioned by the country’s organized crime and terrorism unit, the outlet said.
Tate’s home was also raided in April this year as part of a human trafficking investigation.

He has previously said that “40 percent” of the reasons for his move to Romania were that the police were less likely to investigate allegations of sexual assault against him.
In a press release Thursday, DICCOT – Romania’s police, criminal and investigative unit – said they had searched five houses with search warrants.
The arrest warrants were issued in connection with ongoing investigations into an organized crime organisation, human trafficking and rape.
The victims were “recruited by two British nationals” who were later transported and housed in buildings in Ilfov County, police said. They did not name the suspects.
The women were then subjected to “physical violence and psychological abuse” and “sexually exploited by group members by being forced to perform pornographic performances that were pornographic for the purpose of production and distribution across social media platforms.”

According to police, a total of six victims have come forward claiming they were sexually exploited by the organized crime group.
Police officers did not name the men whose homes were searched in Romania.
They said the four men were questioned on Thursday and police ordered the suspects to be detained for a 24-hour period.
Born in Chicago, Illinois but raised in Luton, England, Tate has earned a dubious reputation through his various business ventures.
He and his brother Tristan are said to have set up a webcam business in Romania, where young models told sob stories to unsuspecting male viewers.
Although Tate told the Sunday Mirror that the site was “a total scam”, Tate claims to have made millions from it.
