Andy Cohen doesn't want any drama with Ryan Seacrest on New Year's Eve.
The Bravo personality once again co-hosts CNN's special from Times Square with Anderson Cooper.

Every hour on the hour the hosts toast the New Year with a glass of alcohol. Two years ago, Cohen and Cooper became noticeably tipsy, particularly Cohen, who disparaged Ryan Seacrest on air when he hosted “Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve” on ABC.
“If you look behind me, you'll see Ryan Seacrest's losers group,” Cohen said on the December 2021 special. “I'm sorry, but if you watch ABC, you're not watching anything.” Cohen later apologized on his SiriuxXM -Radio show.
But last year, Seacrest claimed on LIVE With Kelly and Ryan that Cohen “didn't turn around and wave” at Seacrest when he waved to CNN anchors while they were taping their specials in December 2022. Cohen later said that he was unaware of this during the exchange and during the taping of their respective specials, and Cohen went on Seacrest's On Air radio show with Ryan Seacrest to clear the air.
This year, Cohen wants to make sure there are no misunderstandings between him and Seacrest.
After downing a shot of alcohol around 9 p.m. ET, Cohen said, “I just want to point out that I tried hard. We waved to Seacrest. He saw us waving, so he can’t go around saying I slandered him.”
Cooper chimed in, “Don’t start with that. Don’t even mention it.”
Cohen replied: “I’m not starting it. I just keep it really clean. We waved. The connection has been established.”
Cooper noticed that Seacrest had a few kind words for him.
“We praised his outfit,” he said. “He looked great. He’s wearing a very nice tuxedo.”
Cooper then added, “That's Andy stirring the pot.”
Cohen replied: “Not really. Just keep it clean. I’m keeping my side of the street clean this year.”
A few moments later, Cohen actually hurled another dissident at another celebrity.
It happened as Cohen and Cooper greeted actress Bridget Everett (HBO's Somebody Somewhere), who performed One Direction's “You Don't Know You're Beautiful” a cappella alongside the hosts.
Cohen praised Everett's ability to perform the song live in the middle of Times Square while a “divine song” played in the background.
Cohen said: “I have to hand it to Bridget because the moment she started singing there was a terrible song playing over there and she was singing – that's so hard to sing with another song playing.” That was great. “
The song that was playing? Olivia Rodrigo's Vampires.
