The Universitario de Deportes continues its preparations for the 2023 season league 1, as well as his participation in the Copa Sudamericana. The adjustments that the Sahneclub have made to their squad include several departures, but also the renewal of other players. One of them would be Andy Polo.
The left winger, who returned to Ate’s team in March after several years in MLS, has agreed via social media to continue for the whole of the following season, according to journalist Gustavo Peralta.
Despite scoring just one goal and providing two assists in 28 league games, Polo has remained a regular in the plan of coach Carlos Compagnucci, who will continue to lead the team next year.

If there were no inconveniences, the 28-year-old footballer with the “U” would be playing his fourth South American and aiming for his first national championship with the students. Only the opening tournament in 2016 and the U-20 Copa Libertadores in 2011 count in his track record as a top player.
