Angela Rayner, a new storm is sweeping over Boris Johnson in the UK. Angela Rayner, a Labor MP, has been accused in an article in the Mail on Sunday of boasting about being able to distract the government benches during Question Time in the House of Commons, according to reports by some anonymous Conservative MPs by crossing her legs in a sexy pose similar to that of Sharon stone in the movie Basic Instinct. An only seemingly secondary case that forced British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to intervene twice to condemn what he described as a misogynist attack on the Labor opposition deputy leader. All of this at a very sensitive time for Downing Street with three Government Ministers (plus two Shadow Opposition Ministers) accused of sexual harassment.

Angela Rayner, Political Storm
The Tory Prime Minister previously defended Rayner on Twitter – “I respect her as a Member of Parliament and regret the misogyny that is anonymously directed at her” – and later renewed her solidarity in a personal message to the Congresswoman. The attack had already been strongly denounced by both Labor leader Keir Starmer and the person directly affected, as well as by various Tory MPs who had called it unacceptable.
An invitation came from Labor for Johnson to exercise greater control over discipline within his party to avoid repeating such cases. According to the BBC website, Downing Street will not launch an investigation into who made the comments that appeared in the mail, as it is difficult to find the perpetrators who have hidden behind the anonymity.
The story of Angela Rayner / Sharon Stone is just one of tens of millions of cases of sexism that women face every day. A woman is either too attractive (a whore) or not attractive enough. Both make them easy to dismiss/ignore/silence them in any area. #Misogyny pic.twitter.com/xbSWHqy7Qg
