“Domingão com Huck” is with the family this Sunday (19). In the “Timeline” section, Luciano Huck welcomed his wife Angélica, who will turn 50 on November 30th. Among the various honors he received, the most special were undoubtedly those of his children: Joaquim, Benício and Eva.
Joaquim, the eldest, 18 years old, was born shortly before Angélica’s premiere of “Estrelas”: “They say there was a cot in my mother’s dressing room when she was recording. She recorded, stopped, I slept and then I breastfed. “I had to do it and went back to recording,” he recalls.
Angélica is touched by her children’s honor
Recalling a family trip to Bahia, 16yearold Benício joked with his mother: “You’re getting old.” Eva, 11, went above and beyond with her honors, appearing on the Domingão stage and singing the theme song Fada Bela by CaçaTalentos.
“When I was little, I watched the footage and thought it was really cool. She inspires me a lot. I always wonder if I will do that one day,” said Eva.

With her family in the audience, the presenter was moved as she remembered her journey.
“This story is a story of overcoming. My professional story begins after a family tragedy.”
The tragedy she refers to is a robbery that the family suffered when Angélica was young. In the crime, his father Francisco was shot twice. “During this robbery, my husband was shot in the hand and in the back. “Angélica witnessed everything, she was terribly afraid,” says her mother Angelina.
Angélica remembers the beginning of her career and is touched by her father’s message
“It was a moment when we didn’t know what to do to resolve this trauma because she was very small, she didn’t want to leave the house, she didn’t want to go to school.”
After the tragedy, a family friend mentioned the “Most Beautiful Child in Brazil” competition organized by Chacrinha. To cheer up little Angélica, her parents registered her for the competition.
“That’s where a very special family story begins. I discovered my calling and everything through a tragedy that happened. I think it’s very nice to see everything that happened today. In my mind it is a great gratitude.”

At the end of the broadcast, Angélica thanked the honors and celebrated her 50th birthday:
“I’m just grateful for everything, for my life, for my family, for my friends, for my story on TV. And here’s to the next 50 years, with lots of emotions and lots of joy. I’m very proud of it.” My story and today I have confirmed all that pride, thanks to you here.
