Wendy Guevara
BY Alejandro Feregrino-. Since joining La Casa de los Famosos, Wendy Guevara has confirmed on many occasions that she grew up watching television and that she has been a fan of soap operas since childhood.
For example, one night he took advantage of the heavy rain that fell over Mexico City to go into the garden of his house and – in his own way – reinterpret his favorite scene from “Soy tu dueña”.
He even managed to persuade Juan Osorio to cast him for his next project. However, what we didn’t know was that even his name was associated with soap operas.
Wendy’s origins
When Wendy Guevara was a girl and dreamed of moving beyond the name her parents gave her — Luis Carmen Guevara Venegas — she imagined she was Michelle Vieth, whom she saw on the soap opera Amigas y Rivales .
It was 2001 – he recalled a few days ago during a conversation with his colleagues at La Casa de los Famosos – and to earn some money he worked in a friend’s aesthetics.
In this soap opera, Angélica Vale played a servant.
“I felt like Michelle Vieth, I swear. In the novel “Amigas y Rivales” I said I was her and I was small and they named me Wendy Nayeli after Angélica Vale who was a servant there and I swept away a friend’s aesthetic and that’s why Wendy Nayeli is with me remained.”
“I helped sweep her hair and there was a novel by Emilio Larrosa called ‘Amigas y Rivales’ and there Angélica Vale was called Wendy Nayeli (…). That’s why my friend whose hair I swept told me Wendy Nayeli,” recalls The Influencer, who has become one of the crowd favorites to win the current reality show.

I love Wendy!
What Wendy doesn’t know – because of the lockdown, of course – is that one of her fans is Angélica Vale, who was visibly moved when she found out about the strange bond that binds them.
“I love Wendy, I love her! Even more because she said her name was ‘Wendy’ because of me. She obviously felt like Michelle Vieth, but her name ended up being Wen. Don’t worry, this happens often. I love it and so did I.” excited and I adore her.

“How nice that Wendy was dumped because of me, how nice, she feels beautiful and I can’t wait to meet her,” the actress and singer said in an interview for Hoy Show.
Angélica even revealed that she had already left Wendy a message on her Instagram account: “I want to get to know her and as soon as I get out I want to hug her until I say enough.”
