Angelina Jolie looked effortlessly stylish as she returned to her hotel in Paris in the early hours of Friday morning.
The 48-year-old actress was in the French capital on the set of the biopic Maria – a film directed by Pablo Larraín about the legendary opera singer Maria Callas.
After spending the day in costumes that included wide glasses, Angelina returned to the present with her chic, understated outfit.
The Hollywood starlet wore a trench coat over a tailored black midi dress.
Angelina completed the look with black pumps and a large Celine handbag.

The screen siren swapped her character’s large glasses for dark sunglasses.
Angelina is seen leaving her taxi at around 2:30 a.m. after a long day of filming and making her way to her hotel.
The star appeared worlds away from her usual Hollywood self when first look images from the biopic Maria were released earlier this week.
Angelina transformed into the role of legendary opera singer Maria Callas for the film, which will follow her turbulent life and legacy.
In a preview of Angelina as Maria as filming begins, the actress goes without makeup and wears thick brown glasses and a thick knit sweater.
In another photo, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” star looked much more glamorous with winged eyeliner and a fluffy fur-trimmed coat.
Angelina is lucky enough to wear some of Callas’ real clothes in the film, including vintage fur items from Massimo Cantini Parrini’s archival collection.
Maria, one of the most famous and influential opera singers of the 20th century, died in 1977.

The artist was known for her incredible diversity on stage as well as her turbulent love life, which included a romance with Greek shipowner Aristotle Onassis, who later married Jackie Kennedy.
“I take the responsibility for Maria’s life and legacy very seriously,” Angelina previously said in a statement. “I will give everything to overcome the challenge.”
The “Tomb Raider” star also mentioned the film’s director, Pablo, who she said she “has long admired.”
The mother of six added: “To have the chance to tell more of Maria’s story with him and with a script by Steven Knight is a dream.”
Jolie has played famous people before: in 1998 she played the tragic supermodel Gia Carangi in “Gia” and in 2007 she starred as Mariana Pearl in the film “A Mighty Heart.”
The director, best known for the biopics Jackie (about Jackie Kennedy, played by Natalie Portman) and Spencer (about Princess Diana, played by Kristen Stewart), said: “I have the chance to explore my two deepest and most personal passions “, cinema and opera, was a long-awaited dream,” said Larraín.
