Journalist Maia Pidhorodetska posted a video on Facebook showing Jolie in casual clothes and with a backpack arriving at the cafe. “Nothing special. Only Lviv. I just went for a coffee. Only Angelina Jolie. Only Ukraine, which is supported by the whole world”, commented the journalist.
As Ukrinform reports, Jolie visited a hospital in Rome in late March, where she met the family of Ukrainian cancer patient Artem. This comes from the city of Tschernivzi (Czernowitz), which is also located in western Ukraine.
As a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador, Jolie has visited refugee camps in different parts of the world. After the start of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, Lviv became one of the centers for the internally displaced. According to its mayor, the city of 700,000 has welcomed around 200,000 refugees from other parts of the country.
