Anitta says she is facing “the most difficult moment in life” as she deals with the virus

Anitta, 29, revealed she overcame a difficult moment during the collective of the documentary ‘EU’, which was written, produced, directed and edited by Ludmila Dayer. The singer is an associate producer on the project.

Like the author, Anitta also had to treat EpsteinBarr, a virus popularly known as “kissing disease” that can cause multiple sclerosis.

“Two months ago I went through the hardest time of my life. [..] She shared how she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The next day I had terrible news and I got used to it. When I speak, walk, breathe, live, it’s because of how much she has helped me,” the artist said.

The singer, who has been friends with actress Ludmila Dayer for years, said she was contacted by a specialist to discuss the symptoms, but the contact only came about after the specialist took the initiative.

“I never called, but she texted me and I was like, ‘Wow, I’m replying as a courtesy.’ It was only then that I saw how bad I was. […] It changed my life. I cried when I saw the documentary,” the artist added.

I no longer believe in coincidences. Through Ludmila and everything she introduced me to, we managed to stop (the virus) from the beginning.

The singer was admitted to the ambulance at the Albert Einstein Hospital in São Paulo last Thursday. The artist’s team did not provide any information about consultations with local doctors.

“This week I took it off for tests and the doctors are like, ‘What did you do? What is this treatment?” he explained.

She also celebrated the show that took place yesterday at the Arena Brasileira in São Paulo. “I couldn’t go to the second floor of my house,” he recalled the moment he was confronted with the health issue.

To produce EU, Ludmila Dayer interviewed shamans, neuroscientists and psychoanalysts to help her manage her own health, and also had the help of actress Fernanda Souza, the executive producer who also plays the author.
