Anna Kendrick revealed she made embryos with a toxic ex-boyfriend before their relationship changed.
The 37-year-old actress, who recently said she suffered from “mental abuse” in a previous relationship, did not identify the partner but described him as “my husband in every way” and explained how he eventually became ‘a stranger. ‘
Appearing on the podcast “Armchair Expert,” she told Dax Shepard and Monica Padman that the ex would “yell at her” until she was “curled up in a ball and sobbing.”

“I was dating someone – that was someone I was living with, my husband in every way. We had embryos together, that was my person.’
The star continued, “And then about six years later, somewhere nearby, I remember telling my brother when things first shrunk, ‘I’m living with a stranger. I do not know what happens .”‘
She noticed his personality had changed and her partner later told her he had feelings for another woman, but she tried to work on the relationship despite the issues.

“The worst part was, I was like, ‘Please don’t say this girl’s name,’ and he started talking about this girl.”
Kendrick said she blames herself for the failure of the relationship and believed “if we break up or he basically left, that would be a validation that it’s because I’m impossible, I’m lucky that.” he tolerates it at all my cops***.’
“I was inherently so dismissive that it suddenly occurred to this person who had loved me dearly for six years how horrible I was or something. The shame lasts much longer.’
To deal with the relationship, the Pitch Perfect star “dismantled” her life, told her agent she needed “time off,” and began going to AI-Anon, an organization that helps friends and family members of alcoholics.

She explained, “I started going to Al-Anon while this was all going on. I mean, look, I really dismantled my life, and that was initially in response to accusations that I was crazy and that I was the one causing the problem.
“So I had a conversation with CAA, my agency, and they said I need to take some time off, I have a mental health issue.”
“I started seeing two therapists a week and I started trying to learn how to meditate and I came to Al-Anon and all of those things were very wonderful things to me in the long run but initially thought Me: “Tell me how to stop being crazy. Tell me how to stop feeling anything
She then revealed that when she started seeing a therapist who helped her set boundaries, it finally helped her end the unhealthy connection: “And that was really scary and really hard, but that ended the relationship. “

It comes after the actress recently revealed she was suffering from an emotionally and psychologically abusive relationship.
The star told People the union ended just before she signed to star in the movie Alice, Darling, but that “recovery has been so challenging.”
The actress also shared that the difficult relationship was difficult to handle as she was genuinely in love with the man she “trusted”.

She also noted that by the end of the relationship, she finally realized that the dysfunction wasn’t her fault.
“I was in a situation where I ended up having the unique experience of finding out that whatever I thought was happening actually happened. So I had that kind of springboard for feelings and recovery that a lot of people don’t get,” she shared.
But finding out what “really happened” to this man was “the most difficult task of my adult life.”
Kendrick struggled with how she felt she was wrong and how she thought she was right. “My body still thinks it was my fault,” she admitted. She did not reveal her boyfriend’s name to the publication.
In her latest film Alice, Darling Kendrick plays an abused woman. The film is scheduled to be released on January 20th.
