Anne Hathaway opened up about her longtime marriage to Adam Shulman on Friday.
On a new episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the 41-year-old actress opened up about how she and her husband just celebrated the 11th anniversary of their marriage.
She also commented on the conspiracy theory that her husband could be the reincarnation of William Shakespeare.
The Eileen star, who flashed a glimpse of her midriff in a rhinestone-studded crop top in New York City earlier this week, admitted that it was “strange” that the famous playwright and poet is also married to a woman named Anne Hathaway was.
“It would be great if it were true, but if not, [it’s] Still kind of awesome,” she continued, before gushing about her husband.

Speaking to the TV host, Hathaway also recalled how her and Shulman’s second date took place at one of Barrymore’s meetings.
“This is really crazy,” she told the “Charlie’s Angels” alum. “His and my second date was at your Halloween party where you dressed up as Tippi Hendren from The Birds.
She added that the character from the 1963 horror-mystery film influenced her role in her new film Eileen.
On Barrymore’s talk show, Hathaway also discussed her long-term marriage to the Song One actor, admitting that they are “really just lucky.”
She recalled how they dated for four years before tying the knot in 2012, making it just 15 years together.
“I think it’s a bit of a luck thing, but we’re just lucky that we continue to grow together,” she explained.
She said they also have a couple tattoo that symbolizes how each is complete as an individual but together becomes a greater whole.
“We have this thing – it’s actually a tattoo – and the idea is that individually we are a whole, but together we are more,” she said.

She noted that their relationship works so well because “that’s just what it’s about.” [how] I don’t expect him to complete me, and he doesn’t expect me to complete him.
“I am my own person.” [and] “He’s his own person,” she continued.
“And we choose to be together because we believe we make each other better, and that connection is something we both want to be a part of.”
The couple have two children together – sons Jack, three, and Jonathan, seven.
Hathaway’s new film “Eileen” – an American psychological thriller directed by William Oldroyd – hits theaters on December 1st.
