She found miracles in the simplest of moments. She didn’t need music to dance to. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. “Go find it. It is everywhere.’ And we will find it.

“As I drove our boys, the true loves of their lives, down the winding driveway and road, she yelled BYE! until we were out of earshot and out into the world. I can still hear it ringing. bye my buddy ‘I love you little family…'”

Jon Cassar, director and producer of 24, also paid tribute. “My heart is broken into more pieces than I can count. Annie came into my world with an open heart and an infectious smile. She took my breath away with such talent. Annie became more than a co-worker, she became a true friend to me, my family and all the cast and crew who worked with her. She will be truly missed by them and the fans she always found time with. Annie, you will be missed, you made your mark and we are all the better for it.”

Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis to parents Sandy and Frank.

Survivors include her husband and children Freddie, 12; Ozzie and Archie, 4.

A GoFundMe was created to support the family.
