Lance Stroll had problems again in Italy because he set the final qualifying time at the Monza circuit on Saturday.
The Quebecer didn’t make it through Q1 and will therefore start Sunday’s race at the back, 0.8 seconds behind his colleague Fernando Alonso, who will start fifth.

Stroll also had problems in free practice the day before. He wasn’t able to complete a single lap in the first two sessions.
“I didn’t do a single lap in the first and second practice sessions yesterday and although that didn’t help, I don’t think it was the cause of today’s result,” he said on the Aston Martin website on Saturday.
The 24-year-old driver admitted to having trouble with his car.
“It was a tricky session on track; “I didn’t feel the grip of the tires and so I couldn’t attack where I needed to,” he added.
The lead driver said he will have a lot of work to do in Sunday’s race as he will start from last place.
“We will get together as a team tonight and look at the data to figure out where things went wrong today. Tomorrow’s race will be tough – I still have a lot to do – but we will be prepared for whatever comes our way.”
The member of the Aston Martin team is in ninth place in the drivers’ standings.
