Ant and Dec were “so happy” with ITV’s decision to renew their hit show Limitless, which they describe as an “emotional roller coaster ride”.
The dynamic duo have hosted two seasons of the thrilling show and are planning two more – the first of which will premiere on ITV1 and ITVX in 2024.
In the game show, contestants answer general knowledge questions to win as much money as possible.
Contestants work in pairs to climb the ‘limitless ladder’, the jackpot really is limitless and the game could technically go on forever if the contestants kept winning.
To stay in the game, they must not answer with a number above the correct answer or they will run out of lives.

Commenting on the news about the renewal, Ant said, “We’re so happy that Limitless Win has been such a hit with viewers, we love making it.” It’s such an exciting and emotional rollercoaster ride of a show that we can’t wait to see it able to do more.”
Dec added, “We’re gearing up for two more series of high suspense and gripping drama as more contestants climb the Limitless ladder.”
“We’re excited to see how high they can climb now that they’re so much more familiar with the show. ‘Bring it on.’
The renewal comes after the show realigned to introduce a lifeline in its final season.
Dec admitted the duo initially refused to participate in the lifeline because they felt too much pressure, but “eventually made friends with it.”

The show recently introduced a “lifeline” feature, which the duo initially declined to attend, saying it was “too much pressure.”
He added, “But as soon as it came down to the first record and that lifeline showed up, honestly, my heart sank.” I was like, ‘Oh God. Oh no. What have we been doing here? The pressure, the pressure.’
Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Contracts at ITV, said: “Limitless Win has very quickly gained a loyal family audience and has become one of our most unique and exciting game shows.” “We look forward to more fun up the money ladder in 2024.”

Limitless Win was one of the shows Ant and Dec wanted to work on instead of the family favorite Saturday Night Takeaway.
The pair made the decision to pause the show a few months ago, Ant said, “We love doing Saturday Night Takeaway, but hitting the 20 series milestone felt like the perfect time to take a little break and breathe .”
“We still have a momentous 20th series to look forward to, so we’ll do our best to get out 2024 (for now) with a bang.”
Despite the series being cancelled, the pair have remained very busy, continuing to host Britain’s Got Talent and I’m a Celebrity – as well as the South African spin-off.
They also present the ITV1 documentary DNA Journey and will star in the reboot of the CCBC teen series Byker Grove, which brought the couple to fame in the 1990s.
