Anti aircraft defense shoots down 21 Ukrainian drones over Crimea and four Russian regions

Moscow, January 30 (EFE). – Russian air defense systems shot down a total of 21 Ukrainian drones over Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga and Tula regions last night, the Russian Defense Ministry reported today.

According to the military report, all of the devices used by the Ukrainian army in the attack were fixed-wing devices.

The defense stated that several drones were destroyed or intercepted over Crimea; 5 over the Belgorod region; 3 on Bryansk; 1 on Kaluga and another on Tula, the last two regions without a border with Ukraine.

The Ukrainian army has been carrying out daily attacks against the Russian rear for several weeks, either with drones or with missiles, including ballistic missiles.

Crimea, which celebrates its 10th anniversary since Russian annexation in March, is one of the priority targets of Ukrainian attacks.

This Monday, a Ukrainian drone attacked an oil refinery 240 kilometers northeast of Moscow, causing no casualties or damage.

On the 21st, a Ukrainian drone caused a fire at the NOVATEK gas terminal in the Ust-Luga river port, next to the mouth of the Lugá ​​River in the Gulf of Finland, about 850 kilometers north of Ukraine.EFE
