Growing up with a sibling with a cognitive impairment is not easy, especially when the parents have devoted their full attention to the sibling. This is the main reason for the hatred of Max opposite to Gerry. A grudge that over time has prompted the fitness trainer to cut the blood relative out of his life entirely…at least until now!
As we know, for several months now, Gerry has suddenly reappeared in Max’s life, forcing him to confront the ghosts of the past. At first, the fitness trainer tried to chase his brother, but then – after learning that his mother was unable to look after him due to an illness – decided to look after him for a few weeks. But things will change…

While Gerry continues to make friends at the Fürstenhof and even registers for a pétanque tournament with his colleagues, Max will visit his mother to find out about his real state of health and to discuss his brother’s “management” with her.
Now, realizing that the mother still needs time to fully recover and is consequently unable to care for the “special” child, she makes an unexpected decision: to send Gerry to an assisted living facility.
After his return to the Fürstenhof Max will tell his brother that he has to leave Bichlheim and go and live in a house with strangers who will take care of him. News that is expected to cause poor Gerry to panic… Will the latter be able to convince relatives to allow him to stay?
