Anton Khudobin will continue his career in Russia, but not in the KHL.
The 37-year-old goalkeeper has signed a contract with Sokol Krasnoyarsk, a team in the VHL, Russia’s second division, he announced on X (formerly Twitter).
This brings Khudobin closer to his home country of Kazakhstan.
“I signed a contract with the city team, which became my home. “I’m very happy about it,” he wrote on Tuesday. Everything is wonderful. I only have positive thoughts.”
