Antonia Fontenelle caused controversy in the world of samba by quoting Imperatriz Leopoldinense in a video criticizing the outfit chosen by Janja at the inauguration of Luis Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) as President of the Republic. Taking to Instagram Stories, the presenter compared the first lady’s look to Ramos’ oldschool look while watching the ceremony on TV.
“Look, boys… These are the old guard of Imperatriz Leopoldinense. After Antonia Fontenelle’s criticism, the president of the association, Cátia Drumond, sent a letter to Liesa (Independent League of Samba Schools) asking that the YouTuber not be accredited for any purpose or function.
“The unfounded attacks of those who do not know the history of carnival hit not only our association, but above all our community, fans, components and consequently the whole world of samba.
