The upper face of Antonio (Tony Ramos) will evoke a deep sense of humiliation in the next few chapters earth and passionright after Caio (Cauã Reymond) unmask Irene (Glória Pires) in front of the whole family. In summary, Antônio feels betrayed after Caio turns the tide and reveals to his family that Irene was a prostitute in the past and, moreover, isn’t even Daniel’s (Johnny Massaro) biological mother. Trouble is, even Caio couldn’t imagine his brother’s frantic reaction.

Daniel’s outburst will be violent, and the lawyer quickly leaves the house and drives aimlessly down the street until he loses control of the vehicle and is involved in a serious accident. Later, Aline’s “secret” friend (Bárbara Reis) dies, increasing Irene’s hatred for Caio, who is once again wrongly labeled a murderer in Walcyr Carrasco’s novel.
Amidst the confusion, Antônio grows more distant, dragging himself around the corner and bemoaning yet another personal defeat. During this time, Irene will gain more screen time in Terra e Paixão, replacing her husband in the art of shenanigans and buying war against Aline, including a major fire on her rival’s plantation.
