Apple announced an increase of more than 40% for its Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade offerings. The Apple One subscription increases with them.

It is clear that the time has come for price increases for streaming services for music, series or films. After Spotify, Deezer or Netflix, it is now Apple’s turn to announce a price increase for its sVOD platform Apple TV+.
The American company has actually decided to increase the price of the monthly subscription from 6.99 to 9.99 euros per month, an increase of almost 43%. The same goes for the Apple Arcade subscription, which allows you to enjoy a catalog of games that are usually paid on iPhones, Apple TVs or iPads. This time the package increases from 4.99 euros to 6.99 euros per month, which corresponds to an increase of 40%.
Apple One increases by 3 euros, regardless of the formula
Logically, the price of the Apple One subscription also increases, which allows you to enjoy Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, iCloud+, Apple Music and Apple Fitness+ at the same time. The price for all tariffs therefore increases by 3 euros per month. It must be said that regardless of the formula chosen, Apple Arcade and Apple TV+ are part of the Apple One offer. Specifically, the cheapest price of the Apple One increases from 16.95 euros to 19.95 euros per month for the individual plan. The premium plan – including Fitness+ and 2 TB on iCloud+ – costs from 31.95 euros to 34.95 euros per month.

However, growth in streaming platforms is becoming more and more common. Of course, Apple is just standardizing compared to competing sVOD services – Netflix in 4K now costs 20 euros per month, Disney+ costs 9 euros per month – but subscriptions are cumulative and the overall bill increases with it.
