Arasan Chip Systems, a leading provider of semiconductor IP for mobile and automotive SoCs, today announced the immediate availability of its 2nd generation MIPI D-PHY IP for 22nm GF SoC designs.
SAN JOSE, Calif., May 17, 2023 /PRNewswire/ –Arasan Chip Systems announces the immediate availability of its 2nd generation MIPI D-PHY IP products, the MIPI D-PHY v1.1 IP with up to 1.5 Gbps and IP MIPI D-PHY support v1.2 up to 2.5 Gbps for GlobalFoundries 22nm SoC designs, reengineered for ultra-low power consumption and space.
Both products uniquely feature MIPI D-PHY IP v1.1, which is further optimized for ultra-low power and IoT visualization applications that require low throughput for their small, low-resolution displays, but need the performance is of the utmost importance. IP D-PHY v1.2 is aimed at a broader market and both versions are suitable for automotive use.
D-PHY IPs are also available as Tx-only and Rx-only IPs to save silicon real estate and further reduce power consumption. Our D-PHY IP is seamlessly integrated with our own MIPI DSI-2 and CSI-2 IPs, enabling a complete MIPI IP solution for display and camera. All Arasan IP D-PHY suits are now available for GlobalFoundries 22 nm. Arasan also offers its D-PHY IP and Combo C-PHY/D-PHY IP for 12nm SoC designs from GlobalFoundries.
A HDK D-PHY/C-PHY combo based on Arasan’s ASIC is also available. The same Arasan C/D-PHY ASIC combination is used by many test companies to test compliance to MIPI CSI, DSI, D-PHY, and C-PHY standards. We are Compliance!
