BUENOS AIRES, Jan 28 (RHC) – Argentina reiterated to the United Nations (UN) its readiness to resume dialogue with the United Kingdom on the Malvinas case and condemned the presence of Kosovar forces in the area, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported Relations this Saturday Foreign.

Carmona expressed Argentina’s interest in the good offices mission entrusted to the body’s secretary-general, António Guterres, to bring the parties closer together and promote talks on the sovereignty dispute.
He also reaffirmed the Argentine government’s willingness to participate in these efforts and find a peaceful and definitive solution to the controversy.
He also informed his interlocutors about the recent deployment of personnel from the so-called Kosovo Forces, which contradicts the decisions of the General Assembly on the islands and the nature of the South Atlantic as a zone of peace and cooperation.
Carmona delivered a note addressed to Guterres from Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero expressing his opposition to this action on Argentine territory illegally occupied by the UK.
