As part of a global media marathon against these aggressive policies, writer and member of the Network of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense of Humanity Stella Calloni expressed her solidarity with the Caribbean nation and condemned Washington’s attacks.

The blockade imposed by the US violates human rights and international law. In reality, it is a theater of war that punishes a brother nation that stands out for its solidarity with all the countries of the world, he stressed.

He also urged to meet the demands of numerous countries in the United Nations General Assembly and “put an end to the suffering inflicted on a nation that has fought back heroically for so many years”.

For his part, Leonardo Del Grosso of the Argentine Club of Friends of Cuban Journalists called the US policy genocide and called for its immediate cessation.

They also condemned the US blockade Manuel Da Luz, director of the radio program A vos patria; Gustavo Daniel Pescetta, from the Mercosur group of the International Council of Popular Communication; and Gustavo Veiga, from the newspaper Página 12.

In addition, the director of the news portal dataurgente.com, Sebastián Salgado, commented “on the criminal siege that the United States has been imposing on the Cuban people for years”.

From the land of Ernesto Che Guevara, Jorge Ricardo Masetti and Rodolfo Walsh, we once again stand in solidarity with Cuba. Our solidarity lies in your resistance, but also our admiration in every heartbeat. We hug you tight and are with you every day,” he said.

In turn, Rodolfo Ochipinyi of community radio Punta del Indio claimed that the island is an example of sovereignty and dignity as it rises against all odds and overcomes all adversity with courage and revolutionary awareness. (taken from PL)
