Various social, trade union, political and human rights organizations in Argentina will meet on January 23 to discuss the issue of peoples’ integration, organizers confirmed on Monday.
Convening organizations include the Frente Grande, the Evita Movement, the Communist Party, La Cámpora, the Central de Trabajadores de Argentina (CTA), the Descamisados and Populismo K.
The groups agreed to meet on the eve of the Celac leaders’ summit.

Convening organizations include the Frente Grande, the Evita Movement, the Communist Party, La Cámpora, the Central de Trabajadores de Argentina (CTA), the Descamisados and Populismo K.
The groups agreed to hold the meeting on the eve of the Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac) to be held in Buenos Aires.
The meeting, which will be the seat of the Autonomous CTA as a conclave, will also be attended by representatives of the network of intellectuals in defense of humanity, Espacio Puebla, the American Association of Jurists and the Juan Perón National Current.
The themes of the event include integration, the consolidation of the Latin American region as a zone of peace, the rejection of coercive measures and respect for territorial integrity and sovereignty.
According to the organizers, meetings will be requested with the authorities gathered at the Celac summit to present the final document of the event.
