Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez are finalizing their separation by officially ending their marriage.

After announcing their split in July, the 30-year-old singer and the 28-year-old real estate agent simultaneously filed for divorce on Monday after two years of marriage. According to TMZ, the 7 Rings singer cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the separation. Dalton Gomez reportedly filed for divorce himself almost immediately afterward.
News of the split broke two months ago, but Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez “took time together to slowly and privately work out the details of the deal,” a source told People. “They were very caring and respectful of each other every step of the way. »
The source added that the split was “friendly and gentle” and that the couple have now “moved on.” The couple’s separation date is set for February 20, 2023.
Shortly after news of the split broke, a source told People magazine that the couple had made the decision to part ways amicably.
Ariana Grande and the real estate agent began dating in January 2020. They announced their engagement in December 2020 and tied the knot on May 15 the following year.
Sources recently confirmed that Ariana Grande is currently dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater. In July, Ethan Slater filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay, whom he married in November 2018 and with whom he has one child.
