Ariana and the Pittsburgh-raised rap artist dated from September 2016 to May 2018.

When they split, Ariana began dating comedian Pete Davidson shortly after, and the two became engaged not long after.

Miller, born Malcolm James McCormick, died suddenly later that year on September 7 after an accidental drug overdose.

Davidson and Grande ended the following month, ending their high-profile engagement while Ariana was in mourning.

The former Nickelodeon sensation later poured her heart out into her album Thank U, Next, which explored both relationships.

She told Vogue at the time: “My friends know how much comfort music brings me, so I think it was an all-encompassing situation, let’s take it there.

“But if I’m completely honest, I don’t remember those months of my life because I was (a) so drunk and (b) so sad.”

The entertainer candidly added, “I can’t really remember how it started or how it ended or how suddenly there were 10 songs on the board.”

The petite pop princess continues, “I think this is the first album and also the first year of my life that I’ve realized that I can’t put off spending time with myself any longer, the way I am .

“I’ve been booed my entire adult life. I always had someone to say goodnight to,” she mused.

“So thank you U, next was this moment of self-realization. It was that scary moment of, ‘Wow, you have to face all this stuff now. No more distractions. You have to heal all that shit.”

And the megastar spoke openly about the late artist’s battle with addiction, as she described: “By no means what we had was perfect but damn it.

“He was the best person ever and he didn’t deserve the demons he had. I’ve been the glue for so long, and I found myself getting… less and less sticky. The pieces just started floating away.”

Grande began a romance with real estate mogul Dalton Gomez in 2020.

The singer announced her engagement via Instagram in December 2020. The couple married the following May in Montecito, California.
