Arson in a building associated with the Accurso family

On Friday night, a building belonging to Tony Accurso’s son-in-law caught fire again in Laval.

This is the second time since December that the office building at 1410 rue de Jaffa in north Laval has been the scene of a fire. The blazes started around 3 a.m. The building houses the KF Construction Company, owned by Karol Fortin, wife of Tony Accurso’s daughter.

According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), it was arson. At the request of the Laval Police Department, the file was seized by the Major Crimes Investigation Service.

The same building was the target of an arson attack on December 15. A shop window had been smashed by an incendiary object.

It’s not the first time the man and his wife – Tony Accurso’s daughter – have been the target of arson. Their apartment on 15th Avenue in Deux-Montagnes had been completely destroyed by flames after they were attacked by suspects in October 2022.

A month later, Deux-Montagnes police officers arrested four suspects with gas cans near 15th Avenue, where Tony Accurso lives. Finally, at the end of August, the home of the ex-builder’s son, located in the same cul-de-sac, was riddled with bullets.
