Arthur Aguiar plans to release songs ahead of tour: ‘Reheat the public’

Arthur Aguiar, 33, is preparing to release two or three songs before rescheduling the tour, which was suspended last month after the actor and singer underwent surgery for a hernia. The winner of “Big Brother Brasil 22” (TV Globo) wants to heat up the audience again before the shows.

“I think we’re going to invest more into releasing the songs, with one, two or three more songs so we can come back with the tour. I want to heat up the audience with the songs again. There’s no point in starting the tour overnight without planning it properly, just to do it,” Arthur told O Globo newspaper.

The actor and singer said there is no confirmed date for the tour to start yet. “We don’t have an exact date yet. Like it or not, I understand we’ve lost some momentum, so let’s take a few steps back. We have to reschedule everything, warm up the audience again,” he said.

He stressed that the tour stop was not for emergency surgery, but that doctors advised before the shows began not to take any chances and be caught off guard.

With full focus on his musical career, the singer recently celebrated the more than 10 million plays of the song “Casa Revirada” on Spotify. “I’m using this postsurgery moment to plan for the next year of my musical career, which is the one I’ll be most focused on. This is where I want to put my energy,” he said.

“I’ve been investing in my acting career for a long time and music has been somewhat forgotten. Now I’ve shifted the priorities a bit. I won’t forget the acting part, but will do more punctual things when I have a cool project and fit into my musical schedule,” concluded Arthur.
