The character Son Goku is the protagonist of the anime “Dragon Ball”. Known for his clumsy behavior, he is notable for his physical abilities and is among the strongest in history.
His birth name is Kakarotto and his first appearance was in the manga “Bulma and Son Goku”. What many don’t know is that he is based on another character named Tanton from the Dragon Boy series, created by the same Dragon Ball creator, Akira Toriyama.
The ability to teleport anywhere was Toriyama’s strategy to show the story faster.
His robes are modeled on monks from the Shaolin Temple in China. As the season progressed, the creator added more details to his look.
His transformations gained more muscle, hair and also welldefined facial features, making Goku one of the best and most popular in anime.
