Spider Woman, popularly known as SpiderGwenwas introduced in Marvel Comics and first appeared in Edge of SpiderVerse #2, released September 2014.
Gwen Stacy was well received by audiences and even won its own series called SpiderGwen. The production premiered in February 2015 and is set on Earth65, an alternate reality in which Gwen takes on the role of Peter Parker, a young woman who is bitten by a radioactive spider and transforms into SpiderWoman.
The heroine was originally conceived by screenwriter Dan Slott. But over time, the concept has changed due to the work of Jason Latour and Robbi Rodriguez. In the story, Gwen is part of a band led by Mary Jane and experiences a conflict with her father.
