Tish Cyrus has claimed that her husband Dominic Purcell first contacted her on Instagram in 2016 – years before he apparently dated their daughter Noah Cyrus.
The mother of Miley Cyrus, 56, is at the center of shocking claims she “stole” Dominic from her estranged daughter Noah, 24, who was reportedly “dating him” when Tish began pursuing the 54-year-old actor.
The Cyrus family has been torn apart by a mysterious feud, and now an insider claims the cause of the dispute lies in Tish's relationship with Dominic and his previous affair with Noah, according to a report from Us Weekly.
During a recent podcast appearance, Tish claimed that Dominic had slid into her DMs eight years ago while discussing the timeline of their relationship, and appeared to hit back at any suggestion that her daughter was involved with him first.
Tish contacted Dominic following her split from Billy Ray Cyrus, 62, in 2022, and insiders suspected he was involved with their daughter at the time before ultimately deciding to settle down with Tish.

The chaotic series of events has even raised questions about whether Dominic's romance with Noah was a ploy to get to her “hot mom.”
Earlier this month, Tish appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and discussed her relationship with Dominic and their relationship history.
Tish explained that he first contacted her on Instagram eight years ago – which she missed at the time before they finally met in 2022.
She said: “I had been following him on Instagram and he DM'd me and just said, 'Hey Tish, I just wanted it.' [say]'I think you're super cool and…you're doing such a great job with your family.”…I haven't seen it in a year.”
Later, Tish's daughter Brandi noticed that Dominic had blocked her account.
She said: “His ex had seen him attack me and blocked me from his Instagram. “I almost peed my pants because I thought, 'Why am I blocked?' He doesn't even know I exist , and I'm blocked. We have laughed so much.'
In the intervening years, Tish's marriage to Billy Ray fell apart and she filed for divorce in April 2022.
After her breakup with Billy Ray, Tish contacted Dominic and he responded.

It was a whirlwind romance for the couple, who immediately started dating and said “I love you” to each other the next day.
Tish – who suffered a “complete mental breakdown” before her divorce from Billy Ray – married actor Dominic last year in August 2023.
However, while some family members such as daughter Miley were present at her wedding to the Australian actor, Noah and brother Braison were not present at the wedding – fueling speculation of a falling out at the time.
An insider claimed to the outlet, “Noah did it.” [seeing] Dominic said when Tish started pursuing him, which Tish “knew” when she started contacting the star.

At the time, another source told Us Weekly, “It's no secret that neither of them approve of Dominic, and that has caused tension with their mother.”

The rumored family conflict also extends to Miley, who didn't mention her father in her Grammys acceptance speech earlier this month. According to reports, the father-daughter duo's relationship hit a rocky patch after breaking up with Tish.

The ceremony took place two months after Tish and Dominic tied the knot in August.
