The football outing comes after Ashton and his wife Mila received backlash for writing letters of support for convicted rapist and former That 70’s Show co-star Danny Masterson.
Masterson was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison in September after a jury found him guilty of raping two women in the early 2000s.
The duo wrote letters of support for Masterson to the judge before his sentencing and faced intense backlash when the world learned of their letters.
They then apologized in a video for the letter and said they were sorry for any pain it may have caused.
Ashton then resigned from Thorn, the organization he co-founded to combat child sexual abuse.
