Beginning April 22nd, The Band, an unreleased 5 episode talent show, will be hosted by carlo forti, with three exceptional judges: the actors Carlo Verdone and Asia Argento and the singer Gianna Nannini. One of the tutors of the participating bands is a familiar face to Amici fans: Enrico Nigiotti. After participating in the endowment of Maria DeFilippi in 2009, Enrico began an interesting professional career that led to the release of 4 CDs and 3 participations in the Sanremo Festival until becoming a tutor in the program of accounts.
As reported by Tvblog.it, during the second episode that aired last night, Nigiotti had a confrontation with Asia Argento. The actress was quite critical of the choice of Come to me, a piece by Francesco Sarcina en The vibrations:
I really liked you guys as a split band, really strong. You had incredible energy. The beginning a little Battiato, slack, I don’t know where it came from, from space, I don’t know how it came to you, (turning to Nigiotti, ed.) Tutor.
The former face of Canale 5 talent tried to defend himself by declaring that he wanted to do something different, but the horror master’s daughter was adamant and immediately cut him off:
Yes, but it has nothing to do with the Italian melodic pop we all love and know. Then there is Francis that’s a stage animal and until the end, when you didn’t come out of the cage, I didn’t see that animal. In the end it all came out and settled.
The three jurors turn out to be the real protagonists of The Band, we don’t want the musicians to be in competition. Already in the first episode they had to comment on the performance JF bandespecially the Nanni She turned to the front woman and said:
We already have Adele: either she takes out her uterus or for me the JF Band goes home too.
There are 3 episodes left until the end of the show and we’re sure there will be more flares on the horizon…
